It's very dry. Parts of southwest Louisiana are in a drought already.

Still dry. Most of the systems coming through here have been moving too fast to give us any rain.

As of right now there's no chance of rain in the foreseeable future.

The Orange area might see a chance of showers late Wednesday or into Thursday.

We'll get a little reprieve from it with systems coming through every three or four weeks, but that's not going to cut it. We had a drought in the summer and it continued into the fall - Hurricane Rita did nothing to stop that - and we're in the winter now and still in a drought.
